This position will be located at Washington State Park, 13041 State Highway 104 DeSoto, MO 63020. The candidate will work 32 hours a week from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. They can also work Saturdays and Sundays at a mutually convenient time for the park and the candidate. Days off will vary but two days in the week for example Monday or Tuesday, Tuesday or Wednesday. This is a seasonal park aide/maintenance position so you will be working in all types of weather conditions and outdoors.
Duration of Assignment: March 16 through October 15
- Empty trash containers and clean and sanitize restrooms and vault toilets
- Perform routine grounds and building maintenance
- Provide information to visitors in person and on the phone
- Prep and clean organized group camps and maintenance uptake.
- Perform weed eating and mowing as needed throughout the park.
- Clean and sanitize shower houses in the campground and clean fire pits in the campground area.
