This position is located at 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City, MO 65102 The Missouri Public Service Commission regulates investor-owned electric, natural gas, steam, water and sewer utilities in Missouri. We ensure that Missourians receive safe and reliable utility services at just, reasonable and affordable rates. The Engineering Analysis Department performs analysis and studies on electric service reliability, quality and safety; performs jurisdictional allocations; investigates adequate levels of capacity; performs fuel runs for use in electric rate cases; performs depreciation studies for use in electric, gas, water and sewer cases; participates and provides technical support in electric and gas cases; handles merger, transfer or sales of facilities cases, certificate cases and technical complaints; receives information, investigates and reports on electric incidents; collects and reviews electric operating statistics on a monthly basis; and monitors electric power transactions.
