You will be joining a Department committed to a culture of teamwork and delivering excellent service to the citizens of Missouri. The Division of Administrative Services Accounting Unit is a multi-faceted unit and provides growth and opportunities for development. Normal work hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, however, flextime may be available.
- Serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for the unit, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Handle general office management duties including assisting with basic IT troubleshooting, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with on- and off-boarding of staff.
- Process purchase orders in the State’s financial accounting system.
- Filing and archiving of payment documents
- Distribution and tracking of vendor checks, including check cancellations and outlawed checks.
- Receipt and tracking of daily checks/deposits.
- Serve as back-up for Front Desk and other administrative professionals within the Division.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in professional office work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Organizational skills, proven reliability, and a positive, collaborative mindset.
- Ability to move light objects weighing less than 30 lbs. short distances.
