The JobPerformance, Education & Resource Centers (PERC) is recruiting for a
Supervising Program Specialist for the Transitional Assistance Department (TAD) training unit. The incumbent will oversee training and development staff engaged in the following: program development activities, analysis, and training; and recommending and developing policies/procedures and knowledge asset/tools/trainings for TAD programs. The Supervising Program Specialist will also manage projects for department initiatives that are the most complex and impact multiple departments; evaluating program efficiency, monitoring contract compliance, and overseeing technology upgrades.

Minimum Requirements CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENT AND ONE (1) OF THE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in English, Education, Business/Public Administration, Liberal Arts, Communication, Organizational Development, Computer Science, Social/Behavioral Science, Natural Science, or a closely related field.
-AND- EXPERIENCE: Applicant must meet ONE of the following options:
OPTION 1 Two (2) years of full-time experience within a human/social services agency, which includes primary responsibility for administrative/organizational development duties, including: facilitating complex project management duties that affect program monitoring/evaluation and implementation, and training on legislative/regulatory changes. Experience must include conducting research and analysis, providing recommendations for process improvement, developing scopes of work for assigned projects, and/or conducting needs assessments to develop training tools for department-wide policies and procedures.
OPTION 2 Two (2) years of full-time equivalent second-level supervisory experience in a public sector human/social services program. ( Second-level supervisory experience is defined as managing through subordinate level supervisors .)
Note: Qualifying degree or coursework must have been completed at a college or university accredited by an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied by an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.
