    Our Missouri Veterans Home needs you to guide and advocate for our Veterans and their families. As a Clinical Caseworker, you will ensure they have the appropriate services and supports to meet all of their needs.     Salary:

    • $42,847.92 - $44,882.64
    • Pay commensurate with experience


    Examples of Work:

    • Provide medically related social services for Veterans to attain highest physical, mental and psychosocial well-being through the assessment and care planning process
    • Identify and seek ways to support Veterans’ individual needs and preferences, customary routines, concerns and choices
    • Make arranges for obtaining adaptive equipment, clothing, and personal items
    • Maintain contact with families to report on overall health and planning
    • Make referrals and obtain services from outside entities
    • Assist with and make referrals for financial and legal matters
    • Provide appropriate level of discharge planning
    • Provide or arrange for the provision of needed counseling services, participating in behavior management and crisis intervention and planning
    • Introduce Veterans and families to the Home, providing information and giving tours


    Qualifications:

    Must demonstrate the following which may be obtained through work experience as a social work professional or completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related program:

    • Knowledge of individual, family, and group behavior.
    • Knowledge of available community resources.
    • Knowledge of medical and treatment records, progress notes, and other related information.
