    • The office for this position is located at the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.

    This is a Java developer position within ITSD-DNR's Applications Development Team. This position will require a high level of understanding of Java for solving complex problems.     • The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.


    This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

    • Develop new web Java applications using the Scrum framework.
    • Refine and estimate Product Backlog Items.
    • Write and update technical specifications.
    • Coordinate and work with agency staff on open tickets and requests.


    • Java, J2EE(JSP, Servlet, EJB), DB2, SQL, HTML, CSS, MVC, Bootstrap, Web Application Security, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Struts.
    • Azure DevOps.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Understanding of Scrum framework.
    • Passion for process improvement.
    • Experience with ServiceNow is a plus..
