    The LADWP Power Matrix Energy Control Center is filling one

    Systems Administrator I position. The position will be located in Sunland, CA. The available hours is 5/40 or 9/80 with a start time between 7:00am and 9:00am. The responsibilities and duties of the positions include, but are not limited, to the following:

    Install, administer, configure, upgrade and maintain enterprise applications, such as MECM, InTune, Tanium, NetBackup, NetApp ONTAP, and Active Directory. Assist Senior Systems Programmers with the VMware virtualization compute and storage environment for LADWP Corporate and POWER SCADA domains/network segments at the ECC. Provide Level 2 (L2) in-depth technical support and assist L1 support personnel in troubleshooting the Windows workstation Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite, and other desktop applications on ECC Corporate and POWER SCADA workstations. Facilitate the maintenance and security of the Windows workstation operating system including identifying, planning, and deploying security updates and patches, software version or driver updates. Implement and enforce Enterprise Cyber Security policies, initiatives, and best practices of active Cyber defense, anti-virus/malware and vulnerability detection and prevention techniques, and system hardening. Assist in Business Continuity strategies by maintaining devices at remote DR site and manage and maintain the server backup systems and perform backup & recovery functions. Prepare and review specifications of workstations and peripherals to meet the requirements of ECC personnel. Analyze NERC CIP v5 compliance requirements and measures, change management, and documentation as they relate to the IT infrastructure of the Energy Management Systems. Develop, maintain and assist L1 support personnel with required documentation and evidence to meet NERC CIP requirements.

    A valid California Driver’s license is required and must be maintained during the course of employment. Overtime and some travel may be required.
