The JobArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for
Ultrasound Technologists II who perform Obstetric/Gynecological, abdominal, and vascular ultrasonic examinations, explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent from patients for testing; review, select and store ultrasound images; prepare patients and equipment for procedures, and monitor patients before, during and after testing. In addition, the positions assist with the training of student technologists.
Ultrasound Technologists II assigned to the Vascular Lab must possess a
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) License.For more detailed information, refer to the

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

Modified Benefit Option (MBO) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Prior to appointment, applicants must pass a background investigation which includes verification of employment history and education, fingerprinting, physical exam, and drug screening.
Certification: Must be eligible to take the
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) at time of hire and pass within one (1) year of date of hire. Failure to pass the exam within one (1) year will result in termination.
Work Schedule: Must be available to work Monday through Friday 4pm-midnight and occasional weekends and holidays as needed
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require Visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future. Candidates must be able to present their legal right to work in the United States at the time of employment.
Minimum RequirementsCandidates must possess
all of the following:
Certification: Must possess and maintain current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Obstetric/Gynecological, abdominal, or vascular
OR be Board eligible and pass the examination within one (1) year of hire.
Certification: Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience: One (1) year of full-time experience as an ultrasound technologist in an acute care setting.
Student experience is not considered qualifying. NOTE: To be considered for a position in the
Vascular Lab, candidates must possess and maintain a current Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) License in addition to the above listed Certifications and Experience.
