- What you’ll do:
- Provides leadership in the development, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive outreach program for the Office of Childhood and its stakeholders.
- Manages and evaluates effectiveness of internal and external stakeholder engagement processes to support the delivery of the Office of Childhood and Department strategic plans.
- Develops and executes internal stakeholder activities for Office of Childhood staff to maintain a high level of engagement and awareness of key Office of Childhood initiatives.
- Identifies opportunities to proactively engage with internal and external stakeholder’s groups to identify their needs and responds to those needs on behalf of the Office of childhood.
- Facilitates multi-directional partnerships with childhood stakeholders at the state level.
- Coordinates and supports continuous improvement activities across teams to evaluate and improve customer experiences though journey mapping, needs assessments, and other activities.
- Establishes project schedules and monitor progress of cross-office special projects (e.g. Preschool Development Grant and Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Grant)
- Assists the Assistant Commissioner with the planning and implementation of Early Childhood State Advisory Council activities.
- Assists the Assistant Commissioner with the development and implementation of strategic planning, goals, objectives, action steps
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in English, communication, public relations, education, or a closely related field, with two or more years of work in the field of education, early childhood, communication, public relations, or other experience that contributes directly to the understanding of activities of this assignment.
OR - Six or more years of work in the field of education, early childhood, communication, public relations, or other experience that contributes directly to the understanding of activities of this assignment.
