Driver - Delivery Services
Department of Revenue
Annual Salary: $31,200.00
Location: 301 W. High Street, Jefferson City, MO

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
The Department of Revenue seeks an energetic and motivated individual to join our Delivery Services team. This position offers a great variety of job functions, driving, pick-up and delivery of materials, and performing general manual tasks, such as building or modifying office cubicles, operating pallet jacks and using general hand tools.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
This description may not include all of the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this title.- Courier Services, including ability to drive a 24 foot box truck
- Retrieve and manage Department surplus items
- Operate pallet jack and hand tools including, drills, wrenches, etc.
- Ability to construct, reconfigure and tear down modular system furniture (cubicles)
- Ability to clearly communicate in person, electronically and by phone
- Ability to pick up and move miscellaneous furniture, supplies, boxes and shred bins
- Provide assistance with moving and installation of data wiring
CORE COMPETENCIES NEEDED:
Work Independently Computer Proficient
Valid Driver’s License Self-motivated
Attention to Detail Clear Communication
QUALIFICATIONS:- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to push and pull mail carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
- Ability to lift boxes and cubical components weighing in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Skilled in driving 24 foot box trucks
- General construction knowledge and abilities
- General knowledge of data wiring
