Why you’ll love this position: This is a Dietary Services support role. You will be responsible and accountable for entering the daily meal selections for all of the clients of Fulton State Hospital. Additionally, you will provide support for the daily operations of the Dietetic Services Department, which includes data entry and or other clerical responsibilities. You may have direct client interaction and your ability to communicate effectively will have a tremendous impact on the success of the kitchen and ultimately have a lasting impact on the care and treatment of the individuals we serve.
- What you’ll do:
- Entry of daily meal selections for all clients of Fulton State Hospital.
- Print, organize, and sort client menus and tray tickets.
- Provide support for daily operations of the Department of Dietetic Service, to include data entry, clerical responsibilities, and other duties as assigned.
- Follow established guidelines and procedures of Dietetic Services and Fulton State Hospital for physician ordered diets, Department of Mental Health (DMH) Diet Manual Guide and Master Menu, and obtaining correct menu information from clients.
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - A minimum of 2 years’ experience related to clerical work; data entry; a role at Fulton State Hospital or another DMH facility that follows the DMH Master Menu and/or the DMH Diet Manual Guide; or experience in interacting with clients at Fulton State Hospital.
OR
- Two or more years of experience as an Administrative Support Clerk with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System
OR
- Three or more years of experience in office support work
Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CBORD, DMH Diet Manual Guide.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and through writing
- ServSafe Certified or Food Handlers Certified
- Valid Missouri Driver’s License
