Education Specialist Division of Professional Registration Real Estate Commission Posting Closes 06/18/2025 Minimum Salary $53,092 Job Location: Division of Professional Registration, Real Estate Commission. Occasional (approximately 5%) travel will generally be day travel.

- Review applications for real estate schools and administrators
- Review applications for real estate pre-licensing and continuing education courses and supporting materials for appropriateness of subject matter and make recommendations to improve curriculum design and course content
- Consult with real estate school administrators to ensure teaching of courses, and school administrative duties and responsibilities, comply with the Commission’s educational laws and administrative rules.
- Represent the Commission at various real estate meetings and functions related to educational regulations and continuing education requirements
- Review real estate examinations prepared by a national testing service to ensure questions are not included which conflict with Missouri Real Estate Commission’s statutes and regulations.
- Ability to respond to inquiries from MREC employees, real estate licensees, applicants, accredited school administrators, instructors, government officials, and the public Perform other related work as assigned.
- Complete preparation for, and coordinate, the Missouri Real Estate Educator’s Workshop.
- Perform other related work as assigned.
What we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications - Four or more years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, or closely related field (substitutions may be allowed for degree type).
- (Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in the areas of business or public administration may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience)
- Must be able to legally drive in the State of Missouri.
- Must be able to complete and pass the Real Estate Salesperson Course and examination within six months.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Lack of post - secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant. Preferred Qualifications • Ability to prepare clear, organized and detailed reports of investigative findings.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to travel within the state.
