    Duties Description

    The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) in the Finger Lakes Region is seeking a candidate with the delivery of support services to the Regional Engineer and Business Office. Duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Provide customer service support to park patrons in person and over the phone, including answering routine questions and handling general inquiries.
    • Manage and process maintenance work orders, perform data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks.
    • Perform procurement card entries and reconciliations in the Statewide Financial Tracking System (SFS) and track expenditures using the Business Expenditure Tracking System (BETS).
    • Enter concession-related data and assist in the maintenance of accurate concession records.
    • Record, maintain, and reconcile budget ledger entries related to the State Parks Infrastructure Fund (SPIF).
    • Assist the Regional Engineer with various administrative tasks, including solicitation of quotes, copying, and general office duties.

    OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
    Must have good organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to multi-task.
    Must have basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
