    Job Location: Central Office, 105 West Capitol Avenue, Jefferson City, MO

    The transportation management systems administrator (Analytics/GIS)oversees and supports the activities associated with managing transportation management systems (TMS) software, including data analysis and verification, training, testing, application development, and implementation of monthly system updates. Responsibilities are performed under general supervision.

    • Establish a new and innovative team to create visual representations of MoDOT’s transportation data through the use of advanced reporting tools.
    • Facilitate the use of ESRI ArcGIS Pro to develop interactive web maps within ESRI ArcGIS Portal that can shared both internally and externally.
    • Develop dashboards and other graphical interfaces using Microsoft Power BI.
    • Collaborate with various teams within Transportation Planning and other MoDOT divisions to support the delivery of transportation data to decision makers.
    • Research and explore new technology and tools to enhance future Transportation Planning products.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field, AND eight years of experience in data preparation and analysis, OR
    • Twelve years of experience in data preparation and analysis.


    Special Working Conditions:

    • Job requires occasional, statewide, overnight travel.
