This is a second-level administrative support position that performs a variety of clerical, printing, and mail related tasks in support of a work unit. Duties may include:
- Answering phones and directing calls/messages to appropriate staff
- Greeting visitors and ensuring they are escorted through the facility, if applicable
- Ensuring coverage of the reception area
- Maintaining visitor logs
- Sorting incoming and outgoing mail
- Afternoon mail drop off for any mail dropped off after USPS pickup
- Printing postage and tracking balance on spreadsheet daily
- Serving as backup for various meeting minutes
- Scanning progress notes and employee logs
- Maintaining conference room bookings
- Updating employee mailboxes as needed
- Securing doors at close of business day
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: - 3-5 years relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed).
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate in a discreet environment and maintain a certain level of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications: - Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from different backgrounds, educational levels, and experiences.
