Job Description
Jefferson Barracks is a 135 acres national historical site that is the oldest station in operation west of the Mississippi. Jefferson Barracks offers a safe, secure place of employment with great views and amazing people. Job Location: This position will be located at Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station, 29 Sherman Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63125
• Leading other state HVAC trades worker(s) in parts management and record-keeping
• Changing filters
• Cleaning coils
• Replacing thermostats
• Replacing/repairing motors for FCUs
• Removing/adding refrigerants
• Inspecting furnaces/boilers/ECUs
• Adjusting VAV controls
Minimum Qualifications
• Two-years HVAC Experience/Trade school
• Ability to bend and lift 30lbs
• Ability to stand/ walk for two hours at a time
• Limited computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Certified HVAC technician
• Licensed for refrigerant
• Commercial and residential system knowledge
Advanced HVAC troubleshooting
