- Oversee daily laboratory support activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory support staff, providing performance feedback and fostering professional development.
- Provide oversight and guidance regarding the MSPHL Laboratory Support Assistant/Technician cross-training program.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, maintaining a secure work environment and proper waste disposal practices while ensuring all Central Services procedures comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory control for laboratory supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and proper storage.
- Serve as a key liaison between the laboratory team and external vendors, ensuring quality service and equipment maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a laboratory setting, with demonstrable leadership or supervisory experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of laboratory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
