Job Description
This is a responsible supervisory position that reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Over eight Lottery Sales Representatives, this district includes portions of north and central St. Louis City and St. Louis County, all of St Charles, Warren and Lincoln counties.
This person is responsible for maintenance and development of sales of lottery products in the areas assigned, working in the field closely with sales team members to support the development and maintenance of an effective, well-trained sales force to aggressively and profitably cover the areas assigned to them; for local interpretation of and compliance with Missouri Lottery policy in the operation of the district; and representation of the Lottery to present and prospective retailers. Overnight travel and after-hours event attendance is required.
Two years of experience as a Lottery Sales Representative, or three years of experience in retail or commercial sales, persuasive sales, business management or a closely related area; and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in marketing, business administration or a closely related area. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the stated education.)
Successful applicant must reside in the State of Missouri.
