This position will be located at
Long Branch State Park, 28615 Visitor Center Road, Macon, Missouri. This is a temporary, seasonal position, not to exceed 1,000 hours total during the length of the employmen t. The work hours are flexible and negotiable.
Duration of Employment: April through October
- Ability to learn and consistently/accurately identify approximately 10 plant species in the field
- Must be able to read and follow herbicide label directions and keep accurate records
- Must have physical ability to work outdoors on uneven terrain in hot/humid conditions
- Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check
- Preferred qualifications include seeking experience in fields of natural science, forestry, wildlife, or botany

- Physical Strength and Agility : Ability to bend, lift, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time; ability to perform moderately heavy laboring work.
- High school diploma, equivalent, or working toward one or the other.
