    Administrative Support Assistant

    St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center, 5300 Arsenal St, St. Louis, MO. 63139

    Semi-Monthly Salary: $1,528.32 * Annual Salary $36,679.68

    Scheduled Hours: Days (Sat/Sun Off) Work Area: CWP

    St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center is seeking a positive, energetic, and caring individual for our full time Admin Support Assistant position.

    This position works with all clients within our Client Work Program (CWP): coordinating the client payroll, the client timesheets, and the documentation for hiring, transferring, and discharging clients in CWP. This position is also responsible for the financial duties related to CWP contracts and materials.

    Employee must be able to work with minimal supervision and manage their own time effectively. Employee must work diligently to organize and prioritize work. Ability to gain the confidence and cooperation of clients is essential; the ability to communicate well with clients and staff is also key.

The Admin Support Assistant plays a vital role as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team working vocationally with clients who have mental illnesses and who have committed crimes. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate compassion and an ability to work in a trauma informed and recovery-based environment.

    Knowledge, skills & abilities

    - Knowledge of the nature of developmental, emotional, and/or physical conditions and the rehabilitation needs of those affected.

    - Strong attention to detail

    - Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    - Ability to complete assignments with a high level of accuracy and compliance within specific timeframes

    - Ability to apply accounting principles and practices to utilize financial systems

    - Proficient to Advanced computer skills and knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office programs

    - Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

    Typical qualifications

    High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of related experience. (Associate degree Preferred, but not required.)
