    Job Location: This position will be located at 1901 Pennsylvania Ave, St. Louis, MO 63133

    The Dietitian will provide medical nutrition therapy and formulate an individualized plan of care, including treatment planning, follow up, and all required documentation as it relates to nutrition care. Completes nutritional assessments of consumers; obtains and reviews diet histories; develops individual nutrition plans as directed by doctors: and evaluates and documents diet changes and nutritional progress. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss individual plans of care, as well as prepares educational materials, and provides nutritional instruction to consumers and staff.

    • Provide leadership and oversight to the Dietary Department with team of twelve, collaboratively hiring staff and developing supervisors to be successful in leading all employees to uphold standards.
    • Assess clients’ nutrition and provide for their nutritional care and education.
    • Develop and adjust policies and procedures to assure kitchen menus and environment are compliant with health, safety, and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
    • Monitor kitchen operations, track quality indicators and food and labor costs monthly.
    • Participate in the hospital’s mission by orienting direct care and medical staff to nutritional aspects of care. Participate in Committees as needed.


    A successful candidate must meet the minimum qualification in order to determine eligibility. Allowable experience and education substitutions are provided in italics below the corresponding system of food service management.

    • Licensure and 6 or more years’ experience as a Dietitian Preferred
