    This position will be located at the Lewis and Clark State Office Building at 1101 Riverside Drive. Jefferson City, MO 65101.

    • Provide support to the drinking water and clean water fee managers
    • Assist with mailings, report preparation, and data entry
    • Process and prepare drinking water and clean water fee daily deposits and receive credit payments by phone
    • Process encumbrance payments for the Water Protection Program subawards
    • Assist with grant tracking by making sure expenditures are on target with budgets
    • Assist with drinking water and clean water fee collection
    • File and archive
    • Answer unit’s main phone line and provide assistance


    To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills:

    • Computer Skills : Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work.
    • Customer Service : Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality products and services; is committed to continuous improvement.
    • Conscientiousness : Displays a high level of effort and commitment towards performing work; demonstrates responsible behavior.


    Equivalent to those typically gained by:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience (Additional education or experience may substitute for the required education or experience).
    • Ability to organize work on a daily or weekly basis by exercising independence and judgment
    • Ability to perform a variety of administrative duties, operate basic office equipment, and perform related tasks in support of the unit
    • Ability to provide guidance to other team members
