The Human Resources and Total Rewards is seeking a staff development trainer to develop and deliver instructional programs and training course materials. Staff Trainers will conduct in-classroom and virtual training sessions. Trainers need to be able to create and lead teambuilding activities with various sized teams throughout the agency. You will play a key role in providing every team member the best professional development experience, every time.

- Plan, schedule, market, and deliver training content - up to 50% of your work time.
- Assist with scheduling, organizing, and facilitating workshops and training programs.
- Play an important role in the onboarding process by assisting with New Team Member Orientation (TMO).
- Research training trends and contribute to the development of new training to align with the Department’s initiatives.
- Perform administrative duties for learning management systems and provide support to all DOR team members.
- Assist with the implementation of Human Resource initiatives.

- Technical Proficiency: Familiar with video teleconferencing platforms like Teams or WebEx; experience with MS 360 Suite; basic knowledge of Articulate Storyline.
Equivalent to those typically gained by:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years of relevant work experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- Experience with training methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design concepts.
- Experience working with learning management systems (LMS)
