    Job Location: The primary office for this full-time position is at our St. Charles Habilitation Center, located at 22 Mar Lane; St. Charles, MO 63303; however, the position requires regular travel to our South County Habilitation Center, located at 2312 Lemay Ferry Rd.; St. Louis, MO 63125. Regular work schedule will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with weekends and holidays off; however, schedule flexibility is required to meet the needs of the facility.

    What you’ll do:

    This is a professional supervisory position accountable for developing, implementing, and monitoring crisis programs for consumers with developmental disabilities. This position will also be accountable for implementing and monitoring habilitation programs and positive behavior supports for crisis consumers. You will serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in developing and reviewing individualized habilitation plans. You will supervise and monitor the work of Behavioral Technicians assigned to the Crisis homes.

    • As a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional, you will develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate individual habilitation and treatment plans.
    • This candidate will be a Crisis lead staff will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the crisis homes. This individual is responsible for supervising the staff in the home, facilitating weekly crisis meetings, coordinating with other departments to ensure all necessary services are in place for the individual, and being the primary liaison between the facility and the Coordinator of Crisis Services.
    • The Crisis Team lead will be responsible for recording meeting minutes including a detailed list of action steps along with the responsible party and deadlines for the action steps, distribution to all team members invited to the meeting.
    • This Crisis Lead will be responsible for the ensuring required Behavior Technicians trainings are scheduled and completed. Fidelity checks will be part of this person’s responsibility.
    • The Crisis lead will be responsible for requesting safety equipment and or furniture, as needed.
    • This Crisis lead will be an interictal part the SOP Crisis program and should become familiar with the SOP Crisis policies and have the ability to communicate this with other team members.
    • This Crisis Lead should be organized and have the ability to manage, enroll and track required training for the Behavior Technician.
    • This Crisis Lead should be a self-initiator and be enthusiastic about the future of this Crisis Program.
    • This Crisis Lead should have the ability to travel between sites during their work week and for meetings, as needed.


    Per CMS Guidelines §483.430 to meet Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP), you will need three years of experience providing services to a person with intellectual disabilities, one of which must be in a supervisory role, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Recreation, or Human Services (sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology).
