    Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Drive Jefferson City, Missouri 65109.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • This is a highly responsible position requiring the employee to work with a broad range of providers with varying levels of knowledge and expertise. The employee will use evidence-based strategies and performance-based outcome measures consistent with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention’s best practices for breast and cervical cancer detection.
    • To be successful in this position the candidate must have strong communication skills and knowledge of evidence-based lifestyle interventions. The candidate must also be willing to work as a team with staff and other program managers. Proficiency in commonly used office computer programs is also required. Travel throughout the state is required with occasional travel for out-of-state training opportunities.
    • To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for a Registered Nurse Specialist/Supervisor.
    • Supervisory skills are preferred.

    What you’ll do:

    • Program management, development, and administration of statewide breast and cervical cancer screening services.
    • Budget management, contract development, contract monitoring, continuous quality improvement.
    • Develop and adhere to policies/procedures, standards, and contract monitoring tools.
    • Collaborate with other chronic disease programs to focus on outcomes through identifying data needs, and evaluating impacts.
    • Provide oversight and assist as needed in the development of grant applications and various grant reports, and ensure timely submission.
    • Monitor and evaluate programs in order to continuously improve service delivery, prevent programmatic or client-centered problems, and to maximize the quality of services and interventions by identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide clinical consultation and make clinical and programmatic decisions for the program
    • Develop collaborative working relationships with statewide stakeholders (service providers, cancer coalitions, cancer control organizations, MO HealthNet, etc.)
    • Provide supervision and oversight for a team of regional program coordinator nurses
