    Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

    Missouri's Career and Technical Education (CTE) delivery system consists of 518 local education agencies. These local education agencies include 444 comprehensive high school districts (57 with area career centers), one state technical college, 12 community college districts (four with area career centers), seven four-year institutions, and two state agencies. The network of area career centers provides an economical source of occupational-specific skill training which is available to residents within each school's service delivery area.

    • Serve as the Missouri Technology Student Association (TSA) Assistant State Advisor, managing high school and middle school students, planning annual conferences, training advisors, serving on the Missouri TSA Board of Directors and a liaison between the Technology Educators Association of Missouri (TEAM) and the Department, while managing the fiscal activities of Missouri TSA.
    • Create and maintain vendor contracts, manage digital registration processes, secure presenters, supervise on site staff and volunteers, and operate competitive events.
    • Coordinate with National TSA to prepare, submit, and manage standard aligned competitive events for the local, region, state, and national levels.
    • Support, develop, and promote trending topics and instructional pedagogy of Technology and Engineering Education (TEE).
    • Consult with schools/districts to promote, initiate, develop, and evaluate TEE programs in ways that reinforce academic education and integrate workforce and college readiness activities.
    • Plan individual and group professional development activities designed to support and enhance instructor competence and student achievement in TEE.
    • Maintain content of the Missouri TSA website and supervise communication with Missouri TSA Local Chapter Advisors via newsletters, emails, phone calls and the Missouri TSA website.
    • Work collaboratively to support various activities with other Career and Technical Student Organizations.
    • Serve as the Missouri HOSA Financial Secretary.
    • Manage TSA supply/equipment inventory and process various grant/financial requests assigned by the Director of Technology and Engineering Education.
    • Participate in state and national professional associations and consult with local education authorities to promote, initiate, develop and evaluate programs TEE and TSA programming.
    • Perform other related work as assigned.
    • Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Accounting, or closely related field.


    OR

    • Four or more years of progressive experience in accounting/bookkeeping, elementary/secondary education, Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) activities, or closely related experience, and possession of a high school diploma or equivalency.
