Why you’ll love this position: This position is responsible for enrolling providers to ensure MO HealthNet participants have access to quality healthcare providers. The MMAC-PEU Contracts Unit is a fast paced and challenging unit with opportunities for advancement. The person in this position will work independently within this supportive and hard-working team environment. You will respond to non-routine inquiries and requests from providers and other agencies.
- Communicate with providers via email, mail, and by phone.
- Answer questions from fellow team members and assist supervisor as needed.
- Process enrollments for licensed Home and Community Based Service providers.
- Locate background information currently in enrollment files, in the imaging system, or from attachments to applications.
- Research, review, and make decisions about complex correspondence received from providers or others, and must be able to define in detail what information is needed.
- Process provider change requests regarding address changes, Tax ID changes, ownership changes, name change, etc.
- Process Revalidations for Home & Community Based Providers and track completion of contracts.
- Assist with the development of paperless workflows and identify opportunities to improve unit efficiency.
- Create, maintain, and update DocuSign templates, and develop new processes.
- Process Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT’s) change requests for all provider enrollment provider types.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Preferred Qualifications:Attention to detail is essential. Clear, accurate, written and verbal communication is important, along with a desire to provide excellent customer service. Must be able to lead in a team setting with positivity and a professional demeanor.
