  Restricted to permanent employees of the Los Angeles County who have passed their initial probation period and currently hold the payroll title of Senior Secretary IV.
  
  General Information:
  The Department of Regional Planning is seeking a well-qualified, and highly motivated individual to fill a position in the Advance Planning Division.
  
  Vacancy Information:
  This transfer opportunity is located in the Hall of Records at 320 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The Department offers a hybrid 4/40 work schedule (Monday - Thursday). The County of Los Angeles provides employees who work in the Civic Center with a $70 per month Traffic Mitigation Allowance.
  
  Essential Job Functions
  
  Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound calls and review voicemail communications
  • Prepare meeting agendas and take detailed notes during sessions
  • Coordinate scheduling and calendar management
  • Oversee submission processes for Board Letters
  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory, including ordering as needed
  • Review and distribute incoming mail
  • Handle document scanning and manage both physical and digital filing systems
  • Assist in the preparation of documents for Public Records Act (PRA) requests
  • Ensure proper document management and version control

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in using technology and office software
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  
  Requirements
  
  Must currently be a permanent Los Angeles County employee who has passed their initial probationary period and currently holds the payroll title of Senior Secretary IV.
