FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER

Examples of Work:
  • Hire and train seasonal staff and maintains scheduling
  • Purchase and control of inventory including reporting
  • Ensure health code and sanitation practices
  • Manages vendor and supplier relationships
  • Determines pricing strategy
  • Plans and monitors budget

Starting annual salary is $50,074 with excellent benefits including paid health, dental, and life insurance, retirement through State of Alabama Retirement Systems, disability income coverage, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave, and annual merit raises based on performance. Successful applicant must pass both a drug test and a background check, which includes driving record and criminal history.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or its equivalent and five (5) years food and beverage management experience or combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Expert knowledge of: restaurant or fast-food preparation and serving.

Special Qualifications:
  • First Aid & CPR with Blood Bourne Pathogen Certification required
  • SERVSAFE Certificate for food handling required.


Physical Demands:
  • Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
