CITY OF FOLEY EMPLOYMENT NOTICE HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST Welcome to the City of Foley! The City of Foley is one of the most progressive and rapidly growing cities in Alabama. We offer growth opportunities and a chance to make a difference in our community. We are accepting applications for the position of Human Resources Generalist in the General Government Department.
Under general supervision, this position will be cross-trained on a broad range of HR-related responsibilities, assigned to special projects and will provide overall support for our Human Resources operations.
Starting annual salary is $39,249.60 annually ($18.87/hr.) with excellent benefits including paid health, dental, and life insurance, retirement through State of Alabama Retirement Systems, disability income coverage, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave, and annual merit raises based on performance. Successful applicant must pass both a drug test and a background check, which includes driving record and criminal history.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or its equivalent and two (2) years’ experience or combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Special Qualifications preferred: - AAPPA Alabama Certified Human Resource Specialist and/or Certified Payroll Specialist
Physical Demands: - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
