ABOUT THE POSITION YOUR FUTURE BEGINS HERE! As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will: Respond to fire, medical, and other emergency calls for assistance. Extinguish fires and conduct search and rescue operations. Operate fire and rescue vehicles, equipment, and pumps. Assess medical needs, provide basic emergency medical care, and transport patients to the hospital. Check assigned apparatus for medical supplies and equipment and clean and disinfect vehicle and equipment. Perform operator-level inspection, servicing, fueling, and maintenance of assigned tools, equipment, and vehicles. Conduct inspections of commercial/residential/industrial facilities for fire hazards and regulatory compliance. Prepare routine, periodic, special reports in a timely and accurate manner. IDEAL CANDIDATE Possess the knowledge of: Principles and practices of fire prevention and emergency response activities.
