Two years of full-time, paid experience operating, maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, power systems, water treatment, fire life safety systems, or water and steam pressure boilers. Or: 2. A certificate or higher in Mechanical-Electrical Technology from Sacramento City College, or other accredited college or career school which has comparable curriculum. Or: 3. A certificate of completion from a Federal/State approved Stationary Engineer apprenticeship program. Have 360 degree range of arm motion, simple/light and firm/strong grasping, reaching overhead, balancing while working overhead, and fine dexterity in both hands.
