Engineering Technician Level 2/3 - Traffic Emphasis Performs a variety of complex and independent duties involved in traffic engineering studies and capital improvement and/or maintenance projects; designs or reviews engineering plans for various utility, parks, facilities, and transportation projects to assure compliance and compatibility with existing systems and applicable codes, standards, specifications, and practices. Manages complex traffic systems such as school beacons and the city traffic signal system. Reviews and approves traffic control plans for permits, contracts, and projects.
