Position Description Deputy District Attorney I: $45.00 - $55.32 Deputy District Attorney II: $49.50 - $60.85 Deputy District Attorney III: $54.45 - $66.93 Deputy District Attorney IV: $59.90 - $73.63 Under general supervision or direction, performs increasingly difficult professional legal work in the analysis, preparation and prosecution of criminal cases before the court in Calaveras County; and performs related duties as assigned. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Deputy District Attorney I is the entry level classification in this flexible series. Initially under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform the less difficult and non-controversial assignments in the District Attorney's Office under the direction and guidance of the District Attorney and more senior attorneys.
