    Contra Costa Health has an excellent employment opportunity for one (1) full-time Systems Software Analyst I position assigned primarily to the Health Services Information Technology Unit located in Concord, CA.

    • Developing software development practices with our cloud service deployments.
    • Producing and managing documentation for our processes.
    • Administration of cloud-hosted software solutions and integrations.
    • Administration of Identity management solutions and integrations.
    • Supporting end users with SaaS application issues.
    • Project tracking using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university which included completion of 30 semester hours in computer science, information processing, or a closely related field.

    Experience: One (1) year full-time, or its equivalent, experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of operating systems software on complex multi-user systems ANDtwo (2) years full-time or its equivalent programming experience on multi-user systems. At least one (1) year of the applications programming must have been in a higher level applications language (e.g., COBOL, C, or C++);
    OR three (3) years full-time or its equivalent experience performing applications programming on multiple user systems which included two (2) years programming in a higher level applications language.

    Substitution for Education: Additional applications programming experience in a higher level applications language or systems software experience of the type noted above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two (2) years. No substitution is allowed for the required 30 semester hours in computer science, information processing, or a closely related field.

    Desirable Qualifications:
    • Experience supporting cloud-hosted environments
    • Vendor certifications for cloud related technologies
    • Experience deploying and supporting XaaS technologies like Microsoft 365, Jira, Pagerduty, etc.
    • Experience with Identity management solutions and product integrations
    • Software development pipelines and associated tooling like Git, Ansible, Postman, Terraform, etc.
    • Experience leveraging API integrations between platforms


    Selection Process

Training and Experience Evaluation: Candidates who possess the minimum qualifications will be assessed with a Training and Experience Evaluation.
