    Pay Range: $18.32/hr - $22.90/hr

    Workdays & Hours: Weekdays, Weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

    A Sr Golf Shop Attendant, 40 hr position is available at Meadowbrook Golf Course. Located in the east-central metropolitan area of Fort Worth, the Meadowbrook Golf Course is an 18-hole regulation facility and is considered one of the top 25 municipal golf courses in Texas. The par 71 course plays to a length of 6,363 yards from the Championship (Blue) tees and 5,966 yards from the Regular (White) tees and play from the Forward (Red) tees is right at 5,000 yards.

    The Senior Golf Shop Attendant job responsibilities Include:
    • Lead and oversee staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and participating in the daily golf facility activities including golf shop operations, customer service, tournament play and facility promotion techniques.
    • Perform a range of duties relative to the daily operation of the Golf Shop including opening and closing.
    • Assists in depositing daily revenue. Collects cash and credit card payments from golf course patrons for services and merchandise; maintain and balance register amounts.
    • Assist with cleanup inside and outside the golf shop, golf cart maintenance.
    • Provide necessary customer service and duties such as answering telephones, assisting with scheduling tee times and tournaments.
    • Provide assistance to all patrons regarding golf course playing conditions.
    • Maintain daily records of player names and cart numbers, assist with pricing and displaying merchandise, stock merchandise.
    • Records scores into the system for tournament play. Provides scoring information for public use.
    • Assists Assistant Golf Professional with management and scheduling of volunteers. Monitors golf course marshals and starters to remain abreast of course rate of play.
    • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • High school diploma/GED
    • One (1) year of practical knowledge of the game of golf.
    • Valid Driver’s License

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Retail and point-of-sale experience.
    • Knowledge and experience at a public or private golf facility.
    • Retail pricing, inventory and inventory control

    Physical Demands:
    • Light Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.

    Medical Program

    Vacation
