Join Our Team as a Fleet Manager!
We are looking for a driven and experienced Fleet Manager to lead and support our dedicated Fleet Maintenance Department in maintaining and repairing the city’s vehicles and equipment. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and supervise the fleet maintenance team.
- Manage city vehicles and equipment using Fleet Management Software.
- Oversee repairs, routine maintenance, and safety checks.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and inventory.
- Manage the fuel depot and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain the budget for the fleet maintenance shop.
- Troubleshoot vehicle issues and perform diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage vehicle licenses, registration, and related documentation.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office.
- Great problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with training in fleet management or vehicle maintenance.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain CNG certification and TCEQ Underground Storage Tank Class A & B Certification within 1 year.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and using tools.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
- Use safety gear like goggles, gloves, and masks.
