The position involves significant travel across these regions to handle cases from investigation through trial and sentencing. In addition to prosecuting cases, these attorneys will support ongoing investigations, help build strong evidentiary cases, and provide training to law enforcement and legal professionals on current auto theft laws and legal standards.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in criminal law, especially property crimes, and a strong commitment to public safety.
Our district offers a great work-life balance. Enjoy access to outdoor activities like biking and hiking, and Fort Collins’ vibrant community with craft breweries, CSU, and family-friendly events.

This is a grant-funded position through June 2025. The grant may be extended past that time.
