Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Fredericksburg is a vibrant city known for its rich German heritage, scenic landscapes, and thriving tourism industry. With a population of approximately 11,500, the city offers a unique blend of small-town charm and economic vitality.

Fredericksburg operates under a Council-Manager government, with a Mayor and four City Council members elected at-large.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in historic district preservation, Unified Development Code (UDC) implementation, and affordable housing programs. Familiarity with permitting systems such as MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) is a plus.

The City of Fredericksburg offers a competitive salary targeted at +\- $160,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
