Camp John Marc (CJM) is located in the tranquil countryside of Meridian, Texas, approximately 78 miles southwest of Dallas. CJM provides a supportive environment for children with chronic illnesses and physical disabilities, surrounded by nature trails, a lake, and various recreational facilities. CJM offers programs specially designed to promote independence, self-esteem, and personal growth in a safe and nurturing environment.

Camp John Marc is seeking a Director of Maintenance, Infrastructure, and Capital Improvement Programs. This is a newly created leadership position responsible for the continued development and upkeep of the facility. The Director will manage all aspects of facility maintenance, infrastructure integrity, and capital improvement projects, ensuring that every aspect of camp operations meets the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and functionality. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline (preferred, but not required), at least ten years of professional experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, Facilities Manager, camp director, or related professional hands-on leadership role; CPR Certification; and Certified Pool Operator License. The individual selected will have an opportunity to secure any necessary certifications within 30 days of employment.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,750 per year, depending on qualifications, along with medical, dental, and vision insurance. Employees also benefit from a retirement savings plan with employer contributions, group life and AD&D insurance, and generous vacation and holiday leave. Additionally, optional on-site housing in a three-bedroom, two-bath home is available, subject to agreement.
