    JOB SUMMARY
    The Identity Access Management Analyst is responsible for managing user accounts and permissions, creating, and managing role-based access controls, including role management, role mining, role recertifications, and access certifications. This position is responsible for monitoring user activity in the identity and access management system and reporting on system activity.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    •Analyzes and document the goals and scenarios for account management understanding both standard and privileged role requirements.
    •Collaborates with application owners to determine entitlement requirements for roles.
    •Analyzes job roles and create corresponding access roles and entitlements within the Identity and Access Management system.
    •Ensures application onboarding and decommissioning processes address changes to Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) roles or entitlements.
    •Manages Role Based Access controls, including role management, role mining, role remediation, and role re-certifications.
    •Maintains user role definitions while maintaining naming conventions and updating entitlements as needed.
    •Manages discovery and audit of user accounts and access resource groups.
    •Conducts change impact assessments (example: departmental re-structuring).
    •Participates in Identify and Access Management projects and initiatives, working with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
    •Performs other duties as assigned.

    DECISION MAKING
    •This position works under limited supervision.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    •Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
    •Two years’ of relevant experience in identity and access management or related field.
    •Valid Texas Class “C” Driver’s License.

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
    •Professional certification: CAMS (Certified Access Management Specialist).
    •Programming skills in one or more language: Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP, Perl, Java, and/or Powershell.

    JOB DIMENSIONS
    •Knowledge and understanding of business functions.
    •Knowledge of access with respect to roles, rules, and policies with the ability to document access control matrices.
    •Ability to maintain regular contact with business application owners, application security officers, system administrators in regard to resource access control initiatives.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
    Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 pounds occasionally as well as visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, walking, or standing to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment.

    May be required to work hours other than regular schedule such as nights and weekends.
