OverviewWe are seeking a Communications Intern who connects people, nature, and place through engaging marketing, graphic design, and storytelling projects. Utilizing their creative skills, the intern will share the narrative of Larimer County Department of Natural Resources accomplishments, meaningful work, and conservation efforts.

The typical schedule for this temporary intern is part-time, up to 19 hours per week or approximately two days per week.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing:
- Building a portfolio while gaining hands on experience.
- Developing storytelling content for the Storytelling Project Internship
- Designing visuals and graphics using Canva for the Canva Design Internship

What we're looking for:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience in graphic design, photography, video, or other multimedia
- Ability to manage projects independently with a creative approach to campaigns, projects, and storytelling
- Collaborative, flexible, and eager to learn
