The City of Oak Point is seeking a servant leader who is a skilled and visionary leader who will leave a lasting legacy in Oak Point by managing growth, advancing infrastructure, and enhancing the quality of life for current and future residents.
A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, planning, or an equivalent field is required, with a master’s degree preferred.
Candidates should have a minimum seven (7) years of municipal government experience with at least three (3) years of experience as a City Manager, Assistant City Manager, or comparable managerial/administrative position. Any combination of experience and education that provides candidates with the proper knowledge and skills to perform the job may be considered.
Candidates must also be bondable and hold a Texas driver’s license throughout their tenure. City Council may require the selected candidate to establish residency within Oak Point, but it is not required in the City Charter.
The City of Oak Point is offering a salary range of $170,000 to $200,000 for this position, depending on experience and qualifications.
