Franklin County is seeking a County Administrator for this growing community located in southeastern Washington at the convergence of the Snake and Columbia rivers in the heart of the Columbia Basin. The county seat of Pasco (pop. 81,000) is part of the Tri-Cities region—the fourth largest metropolitan area in Washington. Franklin County is known for its unique blend of outdoor recreation, affordability, dry and sunny climate, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere within 3.5 hours of both Seattle and Portland.

Franklin County serves a population of approximately 100,000 across 1,270 square miles with a 2025 budget of $51.5 million and a team of 300 FTEs. The County is governed by an elected, three-member Board of County Commissioners and additional elected positions include Assessor, Auditor, Coroner, Clerk of Superior Court, Prosecuting Attorney, District Court, Benton-Franklin Counties Superior Court, Sheriff, and Treasurer.
