As an AI Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced AI models and systems that address real-world problems and drive business innovation. Your role will involve working closely with Development teams, Enterprise Architect teams, product managers and agency leaders to design, implement, optimize, and sustain AI solutions.

- Ensures technology requests and projects that involve integrating AI implement safe, secure, and ethical Artificial Intelligence solutions.
- Ensures that AI technologies align with the organization's architecture and policy frameworks. Partners with Enterprise Architects to provide guidance on technology selection and integration strategies.
- Assesses the organization's needs, recommends suitable technologies, and guides the implementation process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Designs, develops and implements resilient artificial intelligence systems and applications that integrate with existing business systems to enhance functionality and user interaction.
- Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and the CIO leadership team to build the organization's AI vision and plan.
- Leads AI policy formation, including how AI solutions can or will be used.
- Provides guidance to expand and upskill AI workforce and works alongside leadership to remove barriers to AI adoption.
- Harmonizes best practices and sharing of resources - coordinates the development and use of AI in Business Systems Development.
- Serves as a liaison between CIO leadership and Agency leadership by leading AI related workgroups and initiatives such as the Policy and Ethics Workgroup, and the AI Agency Consortium.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, discuss AI use cases, and ensure that AI implementations are aligned with strategic objectives and policies.
- Conducts thorough performance evaluation and fine-tuning of generative models to ensure high-quality outputs.
Stays informed about emerging trends and advancements in generative AI and applies innovative techniques to improve model performance. - Creates and maintains detailed documentation of models, experiments, and processes.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree related to Computer Information Systems and 5 or more years of multi-functional IT experience, including some specialized experience with AI technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience and high proficiency in designing and implementing software components in C#, Java, and/or Python.
- A general understanding of machine learning algorithms including deep learning, neural network design, deep reinforcement learning, large language models (LLMs), and computer vision.
- A passion for working with Artificial Intelligence.
- Ability to analyze and solve challenging technical problems.
- Experience designing and debugging complex machine learning systems.
- Skilled in programming, machine learning, and data science.
- Prior experience in prompt engineering, multi-agent interaction, or task planning with LLM based agents.
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools used to design systems that perform and apply human-like intelligence functions such as neural networks, deep learning, natural language processing, robotics, and image recognition.
- Ability to translate technical concepts, data findings, uncertainty, and limitations including potential bias from data sets into concise plain language supporting diagrams and media.
