Logistics and Shop Assistant - TEMP

Are you looking for a flexible, hands-on role where every day brings something new? As a Logistics and Shop Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly. Working under the guidance of the Parts Supervisor, you’ll assist with a variety of tasks, from picking up and delivering vehicles to managing parts and helping keep the shop organized and ready for action.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and tackling whatever comes their way. The schedule is typically 9 AM-2 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional adjustments to start or end times if needed. For the right candidate, we’re happy to offer even more flexibility.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with Fleet logistics and maintenance, including picking up, delivering, cleaning, and fueling vehicles.
• Picking up and receiving parts from local vendors, as well as delivering parts as needed.
• Performing parts inventory cycle counts.
• Maintaining a clean and organized Fleet shop, including emptying trash.
• Assisting with Fleet special projects, such as shelving new parts and organizing the tool crib.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One (1) year experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
• Experience with towing a trailer is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.
