    About University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB

    (This is not a state position)

    University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

    Position Summary

    Temporary, Non-Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through June 30, 2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).

    Salary: $3,379.94-$4419.92 per month.

    Location: CSUSB Campus and San Bernardino area.

    Work Schedule

    40 hours per week. Typically, Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Some nights and weekends are required.

    First Review Deadline

    This position will remain open until filled.

    Typical Activities

    Under minimal supervision of the Cal-SOAP Director, the Project Specialist will work independently to:

    • Assist with marketing events that support the goals and objectives of Cal-SOAP.

    • Serve as the central point of contact for Cost Share.

    • Monitor and respond to emails, phone calls and other correspondence

    • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

    • Maintain accurate records of events, services, and other Cal-SOAP related projects.

    • Accurate reporting of invoices, purchasing, and other Cal-SOAP expenses.

    • Data Collection.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
    • Experience: 4 years professional experience.
    • Other:
      • Applicants must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
      • Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
      • Applicants must possess the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, along with the ability to work cooperatively with a diverse group of people, exercise sound judgement, determine priorities, complete assigned projects in a timely manner and work well under tight deadlines.
      • Applicants must possess the following critical strengths including but not limited to reliability, attention to detail, and strong self-initiative.
      • Some local and regional travel required.
      • Live Scan and Background clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Demonstrated experience in a K-12 and/or higher education in setting
