    Job Summary

    Salary :

    $13.00 Hourly

    A role responsible for the maintenance and care of garden, including tasks like planting, weeding, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and overall upkeep of plants, shrubs, and trees, while ensuring the aesthetic appeal and health of the garden area, often utilizing gardening tools and equipment like mowers, trimmers, and hand tools. Clean-up and debris removal of the garden may also include removing leaves, clippings and other debris from the garden. This role will enforce and follow safety protocols for all gardening activities.

    Minimum Requirements:
    • Currently attending high school, graduation from an high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma
    • Applicant must possess a valid Florida driver’s license or state ID.
    • Knowledge of plant identification, growth habits, and care requirements
    • Experience with various gardening techniques including pruning, propagation, and pest management
    • Ability to operate and maintain gardening equipment safely
    • Physical stamina for outdoor work, including lifting, bending, and kneeling
    • Attention to detail and aesthetic sense for creating visually appealing gardens
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


    THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
