    LAX Airport: Risk & Insurance Management Division, 5/40 or 9/80 schedule available; Location: 7301 World Way West, Los Angeles, CA 90045 LAWA Risk & Insurance Management is seeking two (2) Risk and Insurance Assistants for the Division's Administration section and Property, Liability, Recovery, and Valuation Unit. These positions prepare draft claims/lawsuit assessments, prepare folders regarding claims, populate RMIS databases, draft and distribute letters, initially investigate claims and assign adjusters, and assist with discovery process by obtaining reports, videos, evidence. These positions also participate, escort, and conduct site inspections as part of investigations of claims and loss prevention activities. Administrative duties may also include tracking files, preparing and presenting oral presentations, budget support, and contract administration.
