From exciting events to community celebrations, we’re dedicated to creating amazing experiences for everyone. Join us and play a key role in making Orlando the go-to city for fun, culture, and connection!

    Your Role:

As an Event Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of it all! This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in event planning and administration while working in the heart of downtown. You’ll be helping to book, organize and oversee events at Lake Eola Park, meeting new people, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

    What You'll Do:
    • Be the go-to person for park event inquiries, guiding clients through the booking process and answering their questions.
    • Lead exciting site tours for potential clients, showcasing the best spots at Lake Eola Park.
    • Help clients get all the necessary paperwork and permits they need for their event-you're their go-to guide for making their event a success.
    • Provide on-site support during events, from setup to clean-up, making sure everything stays on track and that clients are happy.
    • Enforce park rules and ensure events run smoothly and safely while still keeping the vibe fun and energetic.
    • Collaborate with the Event Coordinator and park staff to make sure every event goes off without a hitch.
    • Gain invaluable experience in event management, from logistics to client relations, and develop skills that will set you up for future success.

    Who You Are:
    • You’re a problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    • You’re friendly, approachable, and love interacting with people.
    • You’ve got an eye for detail and can juggle multiple tasks at once (event planning is all about staying organized!).
    • You have a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others create memorable experiences.
    • Experience in event planning, customer service, or administrative work is a plus-but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
    • You're flexible with your schedule and cool with working evenings, weekends, and holidays when events take place.
    • Bonus: You love downtown Orlando and are ready to share your knowledge and excitement with others!

    Why This Job Is Awesome:
    • Work in one of Orlando’s most fun and exciting environments-our parks!
    • Gain real-world experience in event planning, customer service, and logistics.
    • Build your network and meet tons of cool people, from clients to other event professionals.
    • Get paid to be part of some of the city’s best events, from festivals to community gatherings.
    • Enjoy a supportive, team-focused environment where growth is encouraged.

    Minimum Requirements:
    • High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years administrative experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
    • Demonstrated interest or experience in special events preferred. Must possess skills necessary to provide excellent customer service. Ability to speak and write Spanish fluently preferred.
